The SLS AMG acts as a 'halo' vehicle for Mercedes-Benz. It also features in the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 5.

A virtual versus reality race was set up where David Coulthard would compete in the SLS AMG at the TopGear test track and competition winners would drive their own SLS AMG on the same track, at the same time in a Gran Turismo 5 simulator at Mercedes-Benz World.

The event was streamed live on YouTube, and Scroll down to watch the invite video and highlights of the day's action.

The campaign used press, POS, email, a YouTube takeover and banners. To date, it has been seen by over 50,000 people.
